Context
The launcher helps players choose servers and manage their game setup. The engineering work covered the desktop application and local-file integrity.
Engineering contribution
- Built the React interface on a Tauri and Rust desktop foundation.
- Used tRPC and TanStack Query for application communication and server state.
- Implemented checksum and signature validation for local files.
Reported results
The shared product reported 300 organic installs and 70% first-week retention. Launch time was measured at under two seconds.
